MAKE A KILLING ON KINDLE WITHOUT BLOGGING , FACEBOOK OR TWITTER : THE GUERILLA MARKETER'S GUIDE TO SELLING EBOOKS ON AMAZON

Increase Your Book Sales By 50% In Less Than Three Days
I’ve sold hundreds of thousands of my own ebooks with a proprietary methodology I call Attract•Engage•Convert.
I’m going to show you how to use it to become a Kindle Best Seller.
This Book Is Designed For Writers Who Don’t Understand Technology Or Marketing
There are only 12 steps to successful Kindle selling and I show you how to do each of them with step-by-step directions, including picture tutorials. You’ll learn how to:

Rank On Page 1 Of Amazon’s Search Engine Within 24 Hours
You can’t be bought if you can’t be found. As an SEO expert I’ve gotten every one of my client’s books on Page 1 of Amazon’s search results, and I’m going to show you how you can do it, too. The secret is using Amazon’s little-known “Leading Indicators,” a series of clues that tell you exactly what keyword phrases people use to find books like yours.

Sell More Books On Kindle By Using Photos And Font Styles Like Bold or Italics In Your Book Description
That means writing “Oceanfront” book descriptions and using font styles like italicize, bold, and utilizing color and pictures to make your page look like a million bucks. Notice how the formatting on this page sets it apart from the competition. It reads better, looks better and communicates value. You can create this kind of look in your own book page with my step-by-step guide to using Amazon’s HTML code. Just copy/paste and you’re done.
More On Kindle Publishing and Marketing
This guide to selling on Kindle will also show you how to:
  • Create magnificent book covers and develop must-click titles
  • Pick the right categories to list your book
  • Pick from five of the most effective launch prices
  • Test post-launch prices
  • Get reviews that make people want to buy your book
  • Use the Look Inside Feature to sell more books on Kindle
Read Vivid Case Studies Of How I Turned My Client’s Underperforming Books Into Bestsellers
I’m a book marketing consultant as well as a successful independent author. See how I used the principles of my “Attract • Engage • Convert” book marketing strategy to dramatically increase sales of basement-dwelling titles (the authors and publishers allowed me to use their real names).
Find Out How Many Books Your Competitors Are Selling! I commissioned a statistician to develop a formula showing daily sales for every book on Amazon. Just check your competitor’s sales rank then look at the chart in Chapter 15—it’ll tell you how many books they sold that day!
This Book Will Save You From The Time Sucking, No-Value Vortex Of Blogging, Facebook and Twitter
I will show you convincing industry research that social media is the least effective way to sell books on Kindle.
About The Author
When I published my first books on Kindle, I’d check my anemic sales and let out a string of cuss words that made my dog blush. Then I developed my Attract•Engage•Convert strategy and sales took off.
As word got out that I sold over 100,000 ebooks, authors and publishers flocked to me for advice, attracted to the methodical ways I turned guerilla marketing tactics into stellar revenue. These strategies work for me, they work for my clients, and they will work for you. Believe in your books. Nobody believed in mine and now I make a great living as a writer. You can too by following my formula.

SAMPLE CUSTOMER REVIEWS

1) Chapter 6 is BOGUS info - Chapters 8 & 14 are worth WAY MORE than the whole book - & the other chapters are great too! - What author doesn't want more sales? This book is filled with many actionable and reliable pieces of advice that can improve results on Kindle and frankly also for indie print books as well.

I have some raves and some BOOs.

OK the bad first.

Chapter 6 - forget it. Skip it entirely. The author should just plain REMOVE IT.

You can't put "as the author of..." with a clickable link in an amazon review. They'll pull it down. Amazon gets very touchy about this even though they should be glad because any clickable item mention makes them money. Go figure, but there it is.

I DO agree - and I tell my mentees this - that reviewing competitors books is a good thing, because people who like and read those books will also likely want yours. I've never known books bout the same topic to have fights on bookshelves or rip up kindle readers from the inside out. Who doesn't own several books on a similar topic.

So reviewing books makes sense, as described in Chapter 6, but do not try linking to your own book.

Chapter 11 likewise suggests something I'm quite sure would put you on Amazon's naughty list.

Reviews are important. Come by them honestly. If you have a small circle of friends, ask them to each write a review and say the other friends' reviews are helpful. The anatomy of a good review in this chapter is sound.

NOW on to the FANTASTIC parts of this book.

Chapter 8 teaches something I have seen nowhere else, and I truly shouted WOOHOO! Woke the dog. Startled the cats. Yep! Positively brilliant and very useful. Worth the price of admission for sure!

The techniques for the title, cover, and research are rock solid and definitely I would follow all of that to the letter.

Chapter 14 shows you how many books you're likely to sell at various sales ranks. This takes the mystery out of sales.

Following most of what the author suggests definitely sets you on the path to sales success with your book. I highly recommend the book to any author.

2) Some Good Info, Bad Info and Missing Info - This book was loaned to me. I found some of the information about social networking, titling, keyword research, categories etc to be very helpful. But the advice on getting reviews and inserting your book link into a review for another book could get you in hot water with Amazon. So I'd be careful there. Also, if you want to format your book page with bold characters, bigger fonts, bullet lists etc all you have to do is create an Author Central account, add or claim the book as yours and edit the description page. You don't have to touch HTML code to accomplish that. Finally, when talking about book promotion you can enter your book into KDP for 90 days. If you do that you get 5 days where you can set your book to free. This can be a great way to get downloads that expose your book to readers. It can also translate to sales when you come off promo. But the other thing missing in this book is the powerhouse sites where you can list your book's free days. For example, if EreaderNewsToday or Pixel of Ink list your book on its free days it can REALLY translate into significant sales after your book comes off of promo.

So I gave this book a 3 star review because it has some good information, some bad information and it was also missing some helpful information for authors.
